Applied Shamanism is a spiritual healing arts practice based on the timeless wisdom teachings of the earth. This wisdom and connection is available and accessible to every one of us, at any time.
Our connection to our own internal knowing, spirit, and wisdom can get ruptured by trauma and painful experiences in our lives, leaving us feeling powerless, exhausted, cut-off from our life energy and purpose, and just “not ourselves”. Applied Shamanism addresses these injuries through direct work with the spiritual, psychological, and energetic body- affecting change on all levels of being.
Through the use of sound and drumming, Applied Shamanism supports the practitioner in moving past the conscious, every-day thinking mind, and into the deeper fields of your being. Here we can begin to directly access parts of you that may need healing or support, learn how they came to be, and explore what is needed to heal. We can also connect you to your own inner healer or inner source of wisdom, which is an innate aspect we all have within, and a huge support in learning to heal and trust your own self.
Symptoms of dis-ease:

*Please note – The term Shamanism originally referred to specific cultural traditions, and was termed such by those outside of that culture. Though I do practice what is called Shamanism, I was not raised, trained, nor initiated into a culture that practices Shamanism. Therefore the teachings and practice are filtered, as with everything, through my personal and historical cultural lenses. Applied Shamanic counseling offers tools and practices to begin to access greater energetic fields within yourself, to assist in your own inner healing. You do not need have to have any spiritual beliefs to benefit and engage in this process, nor need it conflict with any spiritual or religious beliefs you may already have.
