Frequently Asked Questions
** If you need support during this time, please do reach out. All sessions are by phone and video. If you would like information on resources for your own wellbeing during this time, please check out this page. Let’s grow through this, together.
Where do you offer services? Due to the current recommendations around the pandemic, all sessions are being offered remotely through secure phone or video platforms for the foreseeable future. You won’t have to sign up for anything – just click the link I send you. Then just show up, however you are!
How much does therapy cost? I charge $200 for 50 minute sessions, with longer sessions are at the prorated rate.
Do you accept insurance? I do not accept insurance for my services, however some insurance providers may offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers. I am happy to provide a monthly super bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please do confirm that your insurance provides reimbursement for out-of-network providers before we begin working together. Let’s make sure this is covered!
How often do I need to come to therapy? I ask clients to commit to weekly therapy sessions for either 50 minutes, 75 minutes, or 100 minutes. The shorter sessions give a deep dive into what’s going on, with the possibility of exploring through different modalities (art making, journey work, hypnosis etc). The longer sessions give us time to move between several modalities – and can be quite expansive! We will work together to find a regular time spot and continue to meet at that time. This allows you to build a regular practice into your week of setting aside time *just for you*. It also gives you the space and time needed for the deeper work of transformation and healing. It’s a sacred space. We’ll create that together.
What is your cancellation policy? I hold a 24 hour cancellation policy, so that if you need to cancel you may do so up to 24 hours before your session. Otherwise you will be charged the full fee for your missed session. So – try to remember! If you cancel a lot – we’ll talk about it. I want to support you in showing up for this work, even (and especially) when that’s hard!
What session times do you have available? I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Scheduling tends to change fast during this time, so the best way to figure that out is to set up a phone consultation. If we decide to work together, I’ll reserve a weekly spot for you then!
